I always like to put tips when I run into a problem and figure out how to fix it.  After giving a presentation on my Toshiba Satellite laptop, my touch pad mysteriously stopped working.

I did a search on the web for possible fixes and nothing seemed to work.  I then remembered when I projected my laptop onto a TV screen, I tried CTRL F5, instead of CTRL F4.  The CTRL F5 is a toggle function to turn your touch pad on and off.  So if your touch pad stops working, try CTRL F5 on your keyboard!
