Emily is a designer and creator with a passion for visual storytelling. She is a lifelong learner who approaches design as both a craft and a practice – one that evolves through consistency, experimentation, and attention to detail. She graduated with a BFA in graphic design and a music minor from East Carolina University. Previously, Emily was a Lead Designer & Project Manager and independent brand strategist who led small-mid sized companies through purpose-driven rebrands. Her background across design, restaurant, and retail industries has shaped her adaptability and collaborative mindset, and allows her to thrive in fast-paced environments. Though she athletically peaked as a synchronized swimmer at 8 years old, Emily carries an athlete’s mentality, rooted in discipline, resilience, and growth. Her creative curiosity extends into music and sound design, and she hopes to write her own music someday. She is always up for an adventure, so naturally skidiving and a ride in a hot air balloon are on her bucket list.
