MRN Web Designs is a growing website design and development company based in Cary, North Carolina. We help clients use the internet to elevate their business to the next level. MRN offers a multitude of services ranging from custom design to digital marketing. The web project manager opportunity is an on-site position that will require the applicant to live in the Triangle Area and be able to commute to the office.
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Project Manager to join our team and drive exceptional digital experiences for our clients. In this role, you will oversee the management and delivery of redesigns, migrations, and ongoing support projects. You’ll collaborate closely with our teams across strategy, design, development, and QA while fostering strong client relationships.
You’ll guide clients through the entire web design and development process, working with our design, development, content, and marketing teams to create lead-generating and brand-focused websites.
What We’re Looking For in a Candidate:
- Agency Experience: You have prior experience working at a web development agency.
- Project Management Expertise: You bring 3+ years of experience managing web development projects, with a strong background in WordPress. Familiarity with Shopify and WebFlow is a bonus!
- Curiosity and Commitment: You’re intellectually curious and strongly dedicated to clients and your team.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: You excel in listening, writing, and speaking, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Multitasking and Deadline Management: You’re skilled at handling multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and thriving in a fast-paced environment where wearing many hats is the norm. There is no typical day for a project manager as they spend time on different activities such as preparing for kickoff meetings, organizing backlogs, taking notes in client meetings, building and automating status reports, collaborating with the team, reviewing design prototypes, reviewing completed functionality, and more! You will not be bored!

What You’ll Do:
- Build Relationships: Establish strong connections with internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Manage Projects: Responsible for the planning, prioritization, scheduling, development, and execution of all Web projects, including but not limited to new sites, redesigns, features, landing pages, and other various digital experiences for several businesses. Create and oversee timelines, project plans, and budget trackers.
- Team Coordination: Forecast and manage your project team’s workload effectively.
- Requirement Gathering: Collect project requirements and provide clear action items for the team.
- Workflow Oversight: Collaborate with internal and external team members to ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Monitor project progress and identify potential issues before or as they arise.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in QA processes to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Status Updates: Hold regular status meetings and deliver presentations to keep stakeholders informed.
